Bill Siel – Always Underground Contact, Downtown should be finished

Paul (AUI) – Pretty much done east of Sheridan, Citywide finished in Oct.

Some softscape work, all hardscape done

TMobile, Sumo(sp?), Collextra(sp?) are part SciFi Network

Spectrum and AT&T are a different fiber network

Weed removal from in front of businesses

Bill Siel – compared to home owners with parkways,

Laura – Make a post and send out an email for property owners

Reminder to attend Committee Meetings

Initiatives for the rest of 2025, looking toward 2026

Ben – More Garbage Cans, Ben will make a map, Bill can help

Kevin – Looking into the cost of electronic kiosks for ads and promos

Jeanette – Dog Park?

Brett – Positive Comments about lights over the streets, in the works

Tina – More benches? Kevin will look into plan from DKI years ago

Ben – Car Source lots?

  • Downtown Magazine next issue in the works, publishing first week of

September. Will feature fall events.

  • Sidewalk Sales – please encourage friends and neighbors to participate.

We worked very hard to make these possible and we would like to see them be

successful.

  • Downtown float in parade was well received. Thank you to Aaron Huntzinger for driving and the use of his trailer – and to those who participated.

 

  • Stall on text notifications. We need an EIN number to use.

Will research additional options.

      New bridal shop in Grady’s building (opening soon)
      new clothing shop coming to the old Latibule space
      grab and go restaurant coming soon across from Kaiser’s

Sound Bar in the former Masonic Lodge by Museum, license approved last night

    • Summer Fall Clean up dates & Locations:

      • October 11thmeeting at Blue House Books
      • Might change dates to Sundays
    • Fastsigns is checking all banners this past weekend.

  • Retail Bingo to begin with Shop the Block design being finalized – added WITH PURCHASE
  • Sip & Stroll – to begin at Noon with registration, there was a common request to have more time to explore.
    Fall registration to be held at The Stella possibly?

    Exploring options to move date or work with Josh Ferguson on Trick or Treat event
    Adding additional family friendly games
    Building a photo op frame, similar to St. Patrick’s Day
