Kenosha Lakeshore Business Improvement District (BID)
The Kenosha Lakeshore BID was created by the City of Kenosha under Wisconsin Statute 66.1109 in 1986 to allow businesses to develop, manage and promote Downtown Kenosha and to establish an assessment method to fund permitted activities. Along with the City of Kenosha, County of Kenosha, Kenosha Area Business Alliance (KABA), Visit Kenosha, Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce, the Kenosha Lakeshore BID funds the activities of Downtown Kenosha, Inc.
The BID Board meets monthly, on the third Tuesday of the month at the Wyndham Garden Kenosha Harborside 5125 6th Avenue Kenosha, WI 53140 at 8:30am or via zoom. Meetings are open to the public.
BID Board members must own property or live in the Lakeshore BID District. They serve staggered terms to carry out the organization’s mission. BID contacts with Visit Kenosha to carry out marketing and promotion goals, and works with downtown Kenosha.
