Sandy’s Popper is a nostalgic haven here on 6th Avenue in Downtown Kenosha filled with homemade popcorn, hand-scooped ice cream, and gourmet sweet treats! One step inside and the smell will tell you all you need to know about Sandy’s. Let’s put the spotlight on the co-owners of Sandy’s Popper and learn a little bit about them.

Q1: When did you start your business?
A1:“May 2008.”
Q2: Where were you born and raised?
A2: David was born and raised here in Kenosha. Sandy was born in Sparta Wisconsin and grew up in Lake Geneva and Kenosha!
Q3: What is your favorite way to spend time downtown?
A3: “Creating memories; as we have from our youth(s) in Downtown Kenosha.”
Q4: What is your favorite Downtown Event?
A4: “The Downtown Cruise! (aka Car Show)”
Q5: What is your favorite part about being located in Downtown Kenosha?
A5: “Walks, dining, scooping-the-loop.”
Q6: Are there any fun facts you’d like to share about your business?
A6: “We are the first popcorn shop and ice cream parlor Downtown in more than a generation.”
Q7: Any final thoughts you’d like to share?
A7: “We have 100+ varieties of homemade, small-batch gourmet popcorn; and 30+ flavors of hand-scooped Wisconsin-made ice cream. Come say hi!”
