CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL

Executive Committee: Chairperson Mark Wistar, Vice Chairperson Brit Windel,           Treasurer Rajiv Sighn, Secretary Jeanette Kelly
Board Members Present: Brett Bjorn, Kevin Ervin, Alex Kudrna

Absent – Rob Gresoviak, James Matzer, Maria Coveti, Gus
Non-Voting Members: Dennis DuChene, Laura Gregorski, Donny Stancato,  Alderman Bill Siel

1. Minutes­­ Approval from May 16^th, 2023 – Brit motion to Approve – Kevin Second

   • Updates from the Chairman
     • Follow up on McTernan Cameras – Quotes – meet with Guttormsen and city attorney and property owners –
       1. Reach out to Erin with Main Street program to discuss previous – Laura will Meet out –
       2. Mcternan Educational Session –
       3. Include options for property owners to purchase camera and BID can reimburse
     • Follow Up on KPD Meeting – Educate flock Cameras – Matt Elm spending more time downtown – new UTV for beach patrol – make sure to report incidents to police – non emergency – Charging at the carnival after 5pm – $2 – extra security – open until 10pm – close at 8pm on 4^th of July –
     • Executive Committee Service the security committee and budget – motion to approve – Alex – second – Brit –
     • Approve Bid By Laws – Rajiv make a motion to approve updated by laws – Alex Second –

     • Audit is complete – passed with flying colors –

4. Marketing Updates
   • Downtown Magazine Update – summer issue live – largest issue yet
     • Celebration – Tribute Island – Next issue comes out August 15^th
     • Celebration America – Sponsorship – Giveaway VIP tickets –
       1. Call for a motion for $3000 sponsorship – Brit motioned – Rajiv Second –
     • Website Update –drop downs for added requests have been updates, search functions, icons updated –  calendar updated
     • Koozies Ordered for Sip and Stroll, PB and Jam, and Outreach visits
     • Banner Update – approved and ordered – Alex please give update – working with city and printed to get the up before the 4^th – new rods for the downtown area
     • Third Thursday Update – Posters, Social Media Promotion, Email Sign up – busy – only 10 businesses – amp up promotions – year round promotions –
     • Sip and Stroll Update – 23 participating venues – maps are printed – beer and seltzer delivered –
     • Street Car and Trolley update – Alderman Kennedy – in support of major events for streetcar for free – budget for the year.

  • Clean up incident – oil spill – graffiti – direct business owners to website
  • Bike Rack Request – additional location specifically Lettering Machine – send out letter in the fall
  • Garbage Pick and Request for more Garbage Cans – Specifically by Trolley Dogs
  • Sculpture Ash Trays – Pet Friendly
  • Evaluate Lighting on Poles – Update – still that need to be repaired –
  • Signage- Grant Program for Store signage – Matt Monroe –
