Schramsberg Vineyards Sparkling Wine Tasting & Masterclass at The Apis

March 30 @ 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us on Saturday, March 30th for a matinée wine class focused on telling the story of one of America’s most important wine producers––Schramsberg Vineyards.

A pioneer of American sparkling wine production in California’s Napa Valley, Schramsberg was the first California winery to produce a traditional method Blanc de Blancs (1965). The importance of Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs was cemented in history when President Nixon selected the wine for his “Toast to Peace” with China’s Premier Zhou Enlai in 1972.

Schramsberg’s sparkling wines have been served at official State functions by every U.S. Presidential administration since.

Featured wines for this classroom-style tasting include:
• Schramsberg Blanc de Blanc 2021
• Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs 2020
• Schramsberg Crémant 2019
• Schramsberg Brut Rosé 2019
• J. Schram Blanc de Noirs Reserve 2013
• J. Davies Estate Diamond Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Wines will be accompanied by small bites, courtesy of Chef Zach Meiling and The Apis culinary team. Seating is available by advanced ticket purchase only, and all wine selections––along with a few rarities from our cellar––will be made available for retail sale at special event-only pricing. Tickets to this classroom-style wine tasting & masterclass are just $45/person + tax & gratuity, and can be purchased directly by clicking here
