ABOUT JULIE MURPHY AND SIERRA SIMONE

Julie Murphy lives in North Texas with her husband who loves her, her dog who adores her, and her cats who tolerate her. After several wonderful years in the library world, Julie now writes full-time.

When she’s not writing or reliving her reference desk glory days, she can be found watching made-for-TV movies, hunting for the perfect slice of cheese pizza, and planning her next great travel adventure.

She is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the young adult novels “Dumplin’” (now a film on Netflix and one of TIME’s Best 100 YA Books of All Time), “Puddin’”, “Ramona Blue”, and “Side Effects May Vary”. “Dear Sweet Pea” is her debut middle grade novel, and “If The Shoe Fits” is her first adult romance.

Sierra Simone is a voracious reader of all things including the smuttiest smut, young adult, piles of non-fiction for research, and everything Bill Bryson (especially on audio).

She loves writing the dirtiest things that she can think of, King Arthur, sparkling water, Tarot, coffee, jumpers, and learning new words daily.
Her previous jobs have included firing ceramics, teaching living history lessons in one-room school house in full, 1904-approved school marm attire, and working as a librarian for several years—not in that order.

She lives in the Kansas City area with her husband, two children, and two giant dogs. (And two cats, but they’re so naughty we don’t talk about them.)

Her novels have been published in Czech, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, and Romanian. She’s been featured in “Buzzfeed”, “Cosmopolitan”, “Entertainment Weekly”, “Marie Claire”, and “Library Journal” with a starred review.

ABOUT KENNEDY RYAN

A RITA® Award Winner and Top 25 Amazon Bestseller, Kennedy Ryan writes for women from all walks of life, empowering them and placing them firmly at the center of each story and in charge of their own destinies. Her heroes respect, cherish and lose their minds for the women who capture their hearts. She is a wife to her lifetime lover and mother to an extraordinary son. She has always leveraged her journalism background to write for charity and non-profit organizations, but enjoys writing to raise Autism awareness most. A contributor for Modern Mom Magazine, Kennedy’s writings have appeared in Chicken Soup for the Soul, USA Today and many others. The founder and executive director of a foundation serving Atlanta families living with Autism, she has appeared on Headline News, Montel Williams, NPR and other media outlets as an advocate for families living with autism.

ABOUT ADIB KHORRAM

ADIB KHORRAM is the author of “Darius the Great Is Not Okay”, which earned the William C. Morris Debut Award, the Asian/Pacific American Award for Young Adult Literature, and a Boston Globe–Horn Book Honor, as well as a multitude of other honors and accolades. His follow-up, “Darius the Great Deserves Better”, received three starred reviews, was an Indie Bestseller, and received a Stonewall Honor. He also is the author of “Kiss & Tell” and the picture book “Seven Special Somethings: A Nowruz Story”.

When he isn’t writing, you can find him learning to do a Lutz jump, practicing his handstands, or steeping a cup of oolong. He lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where people don’t usually talk about themselves in the third person.
