Independent Bookstore Day with Blue House Books
April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeIt’s time for the annual Independent Bookstore Day celebration at Blue House Books!
Independent Bookstore Day is an annual holiday where we celebrate everything that makes your locally, independently-owned bookstore so special, and why it’s such an important part of your community. This year, we are bringing back three of our customers’ favorite authors for a panel discussion!
Joining us on Saturday, April 27th is Jeneva Rose, Mary Kubica, Lindsay Currie, and John Milas! All four authors have been extremely popular with our customers and three of the four have books coming out in April that I know our customers can’t wait to get their hands on! In particular if you are a Jeneva Rose fan, you will be getting early access to her book Home is Where the Bodies Are!
To attend you just have to buy at least one of the books listed below from the participating authors. Read on for details!

ABOUT THE AUTHORS
JENEVA ROSE is the New York Times bestselling author of several novels, including “You Shouldn’t Have Come Here” and the million-copy bestselling thriller, “The Perfect Marriage.” Her work has been translated into more than two dozen languages and optioned for film/tv. Originally from Wisconsin, she currently lives in Chicago with her husband, Drew, and her English bulldog, Winston.
MARY KUBICA is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of many suspense novels, including “Local Woman Missing” and “Just the Nicest Couple.” A former high school history teacher, Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, in History and American Literature. LINDSAY CURRIE is an award-winning author of five middle grade novels, including “What Lives in the Woods,” “The Girl in White,” and “It Found Us.” She grew up on Nancy Drew and loves a good mystery. Bonus points if it’s spooky! When she’s not writing, Lindsay can generally be found looking for an adventure of her own. She loves researching the forgotten history in her city, Chicago, taking long walks with her family, and as pretty much everyone knows . . . Disney World!
