A Night of Poe: Benefitting The White Lilac – Night 2

Two nights of shadow and sound await. The air will thrum with the words of Edgar Allan Poe, spoken aloud in haunting detail — a descent into madness, revenge, and the beating heart of the macabre.
Hear Maggie Speer breathe life (and death) into “The Tell-Tale Heart,” where guilt itself takes form and will not be silenced.
Then descend into the chilling vaults of “The Cask of Amontillado,” read by Richard Gordon and Jonathan Shailor, where friendship curdles into vengeance deep beneath the earth.
Guests will be treated to complimentary hors d’oeuvres, with wine, beer, and beverages available for purchase — a toast, perhaps, to the dearly departed.
All proceeds benefit the resurrection of The White Lilac, Kenosha’s intimate home for the arts, rising once more from ruin.
Location: Kenosha Creative Space, Inc. 624 57th Street Kenosha, WI 53140
Come, if you dare.
Two nights only.
The heart still beats.
