45th Annual Mayor’s Turkey Day Run/ Walk

The Mayor’s Turkey Day Run consists of a 2 mile run/walk, 10k run, and a FREE Kid’s 50-yard dash along Kenosha’s lakefront! We encourage the entire family to participate! The event takes place just outside of the Civil War Museum, 5400 1st Avenue, and runs along the Kenosha lakefront on city streets, bike paths, and through parks.
Mostly level, the course splits at the one-mile mark of both the 2-mile and 10k routes, with water stops at miles 2 and 4 for 10k runners. Both races go towards the Kenosha Beach House on Simmons Island and towards Kennedy Drive. The 10k goes towards Carthage College / Alford Park Drive before heading back down 7th Avenue.
Packet pickup is at the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 1st Avenue, on Wednesday, Nov 27th, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. and on Thursday, Nov. 28th, from 7:30 am to 8:45 am on race day (15 minutes prior to the start of the race).
Fruit, water, and other refreshments will be available after the race.
Mayor’s Cup Trophy goes to the overall male and female top finishers in 10k and 2-mile races.
Medals will be awarded to top three finishers in each gender age group. The age groups are: 9 and younger; 5-year groups starting with 10-14 and ending with 75-79; one designation for runners 80 and older.
Shirts are available to the first 1,500 race entrants.

Online registration closes at 11:59PM on 11/24/2024. There will be no registrations taken on 11/25/2024 or 11/26/2024.
Packet Pick Up 11/27/24: Price of $30 Last Day for both distances / 14 yrs & under $25
No same day registration.
