A sure sign that summer in Kenosha is just around the corner is the return of the Kenosha Harbor Market. Over 100 vendors will once again line 2nd Avenue at 56th Street on Saturday’s beginning on May 11th. Come down between 9am-2pm and enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of the market, all set against the backdrop of the beautiful Lake Michigan.
Bring the whole family, come with friends, or even come alone. Friendly vendors are ready to chat you up and share their knowledge and passions. You can always make a new friend at the Harbor Market.
Shop the farmers stalls for newly harvested spring veggies, farm fresh eggs, meats and poultry, and local honey. Don’t forget to bring your knives down to be sharpened so you can perfectly chop and carve all the meat and veg you leave with.
Browse the local artists booths for the perfect piece you’ve been looking for, or even to give as a wedding gift as wedding season is ramping up. Or pick up some new jewelry or unique clothing. Don’t worry about breakfast and lunch, as there is a wide variety of foods offered from local vendors. Whether you’re looking for corn, barbeque, a variety of unique egg rolls, empanadas, fries, or arepas, there is always delicious food to be had. Don’t forget the coffee!
