So lace up and enjoy our sit down conversation with the one and only Tommy Gianakos.

Can you give us a little rundown about Shoe Sold-ier Headquarters?
Tommy: Yeah, we are a buy-sell trade. We get new and used shoes from all sorts, from Jordans, Yeezy, Nike brand, and just a lot of collectible items.

What makes Headquarters stand out among the many great businesses here in downtown Kenosha?
Tommy: We are one of the few that only have what we offer here. We’ve been in business for about 13 years locally (online), but now we have been in downtown Kenosha for the past three and a half years and we love it.

What is something about downtown kenosha that you would like new residents to know about Headquarters?
Tommy: We offer a lot of opportunity here. Like you can come in and bring some of your old shoes and trade them out towards new shoes. Some of a lot of other places don’t really do that. I mean, we’re just trying to offer something that a lot of people don’t.

How do you stay updated on all the trends and changes in the shoe business?
Tommy: We’re pretty much on social media for everything, you know, Instagram, Facebook. Pretty much social media is the rule of everything right now, so if you’re on there, you can pretty much keep in tune with us and everybody else.

Why do you love Downtown Kenosha?
Tommy: Because I pretty much grew up in the area. A lot has changed – and honestly changed for the better. It’s doing great down here.

How would someone describe walking into Headquarters for the first time?
Tommy: It’s incredible. They would love it just coming in the door. You’d see all types of stuff that you’ve probably never seen before. I mean, we traveled all over the world just to get some of the items that we have here. So if you want to see something spectacular, come on down here. We got you covered.

What is next for Headquarters?
Tommy: I don’t know. We got a lot of opportunity here in the future, but you’re just gonna have to stay tuned and keep in tune with us.
