Are you ready to sweat it out and transform your body, mind, and soul? Jenna Martin, the owner of Hot Yoga Kenosha, has created the hottest yoga experience in the area. Known for its healing benefits and sense of community, Hot Yoga Kenosha has become the go-to place for yogis of all levels. Jenna shares the secrets behind why her studio is so special, what you can expect, and how hot it really gets!
What is hot yoga, and how hot is it?
Hot Yoga Kenosha is all about yoga in the heat! Depending on the class, the temperature ranges from 90 to 105 degrees, with added humidity to really challenge your body. Our signature class, Hot26, is performed in 105-degree heat with 40% humidity. We control the heating and humidification system to ensure the perfect environment, complemented by an air filtration system and antimicrobial anti-slip flooring for safety.
Is yoga for everyone?
Absolutely! Everyone is welcome, from beginners to advanced yogis. The benefits of yoga are accessible to all, regardless of skill level or physical ability. We encourage anyone to step onto the mat and explore what yoga has to offer.
How many types of classes do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of classes, including Hot26, Hot34 (intermediate), and 84 (advanced). These allow students to progress safely through their practice. In addition, we offer vinyasa, sculpt, yin, pilates, strength training, HIIT, meditation, and sound baths. Our SoundOFF events and collaborations with local businesses help keep the Kenosha community thriving. Classes range from 45 minutes to 2 hours—there’s something for everyone!
What is your signature class?
Our studio was the first to offer the Hot26 series in the Kenosha area. This system of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises is designed to flush out every system in the body while building strength, flexibility, and mental focus. It’s scientifically crafted to heal and balance all body types, no matter your experience, skill level, or health status.
What makes Hot Yoga Kenosha stand out from other yoga studios?
Community and the spiritual connection to yoga. Yoga is much more than a physical practice; it’s rooted in deep spirituality. While many come to yoga for its physical benefits, they often discover its transformative spiritual side. Our community is welcoming and supportive, fostering a space where everyone can unite their mind, body, and spirit.

How has hot yoga changed your life?
After a devastating car accident that left me with severe injuries, I turned to hot yoga as a last resort. I never imagined I would fully recover, but Hot26 transformed my physical, mental, and emotional health. This experience inspired me to open Hot Yoga Kenosha to help others find healing through yoga.
The Journey to Opening Hot Yoga Kenosha
Jenna opened Hot Yoga Kenosha in January 2018 after experiencing the life-changing effects of hot yoga herself. Following a severe car accident, Jenna’s recovery seemed impossible, with lung damage and limited mobility. However, hot yoga restored her health, inspiring her to open a studio that would offer this same healing to others. Since then, she and her community have built a space of support, healing, and transformation.
What sets Hot Yoga Kenosha apart?
Jenna attributes much of the studio’s success to the strong sense of community. Students and instructors share a deep bond, supporting each other’s physical and spiritual journeys. Jenna’s connection to yoga goes beyond the physical—it’s a practice that promotes healing from the inside out. Her story of recovery and transformation resonates with students who seek more than just a workout.
Yoga for Healing and Transformation
Jenna’s passion for mental health awareness is reflected in Hot Yoga Kenosha’s mission. After the tragic loss of her fiancé, Brian, to suicide, Jenna dedicated her studio to spreading awareness and promoting healing. Today, 20% of the studio’s proceeds go toward mental health initiatives.
For Jenna, yoga is more than exercise—it’s a path to spiritual and mental healing. “Yoga signifies a deep self-transformation on all levels,” she says. “When we expand our consciousness, we realize there are no limitations besides those we create for ourselves.”
What’s Next for Hot Yoga Kenosha?
