Discover the essence of Kenosha’s downtown charm at AUTHENTIQUE, as owner Kimberly Warner invites you to her charming gift shop nestled in the heart of downtown Kenosha. We recently sat down and got to know more about her and Authentique.

What made you start Authentique?
Kimberly: I come from a long line of entrepreneurs and always loved shopping downtown with my grandmother.  The quaintness of a boutique that offers amazing, unique items and an EXPERIENCE to go with it was always my goal, when opening Authentique.

What are some of the products you sell/favorites in your business?
Kimberly: I am always changing up the lines that we carry for a fresh vibe every time a shopper comes in.  Some staples that are well loved by our customers would include our Whisper line, our unique charcuterie display and our vintage Chanel Jewelry.  Whisper is a body and home fragrance line that I make myself using healthier base ingredients and essential oils. Charcuterie items include private label Extra Virgin Olive Oil directly from Italy, beautiful finishing salts made in France, and a bubbly Cava from Spain to complete the Charcuterie experience.  Lastly, we carry a beautiful, handmade line of vintage Chanel button and Louis Vuitton lock necklaces that are not sold elsewhere in Kenosha/Racine area.

What’s a reason you enjoy being located in the heart of Downtown Kenosha?
Kimberly: Downtown Kenosha offers a tight knit community of small business owners that all love to support and advertise each other.  The beautiful marina and year round markets were a main attraction.  In addition to the 5-star restaurants and unique locations for a cocktail and conversation, I just had to pick Kenosha to open Authentique.

Why should someone stop into Authentique next time they Go Downtown?
Kimberly: If you are looking for a full service gift store that offers knowledgable associates to help you select a gift, free gift wrap including boxes, bows and tags, and a unique selection of gift-able items then Authentique is for you!  We also hold a liquor license and offer complementary cocktail samples on the weekends, who could say no to that? 🙂
