DESCRIPTION:To celebrate National Poetry Month we are holding a workshop and storytime to celebrate the Haiku Poem! Professor Waymel\, instructor of college literature\, will be leading the workshop that will teach children the beauty and creativity behind Haiku poems! We will also be reading a few Haiku poems about animals and nature that will inspire the children’s writing.\nThis workshop is aimed at children 9 to 12 but can easily be adapted for other ages in case there are any siblings or other family members that want to participate!
