DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Book & Wine Pairing to benefit Kenosha Literacy Council! Blue House Books owner Samantha Jacquest will be presenting a curated list of new and upcoming book releases\, all paired with fantastic wines carefully chosen by the expert staff at The Buzz! You’ll enjoy an evening of literature and fine wine\, all for a great cause. \nA portion of each ticket sale and 15% of purchases from the night will go straight to Kenosha Literacy Council\, so they can work toward their goal of improving adult literacy in Kenosha County. \nTicket Options \nTicket A\, $55 – Wine option: Enjoy 5 to 7 wine samples and 2 full glasses after the presentation to enjoy while you shop! \nTicket B\, $30 – Nonalcholic option: Not interested in the wine but still want to support? Enjoy a night among the books and shop for a great cause! Nonalcoholic refreshments will be provided. \nAbout Kenosha Literacy Council \nKenosha Literacy Council (KLC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 1965. Our organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors\, and we are located at the Uptown Branch of the Kenosha Public Library. At KLC\, we believe that literacy is a basic human right and the foundation for lifelong learning. We are a group of teachers\, learners\, tutors\, volunteers\, and donors all working together to improve adult literacy in Kenosha County. Our programs teach reading\, writing\, and speaking skills to adults and families so they can achieve financial independence\, good health\, and greater involvement in our community. \nWe offer a wide variety of programs to help adults improve their skills\, focusing on health literacy\, financial literacy\, citizenship\, workplace literacy\, and more. With the help of over 200 volunteer tutors\, we assist over 600 adults each year. Whether you are interested in becoming a student or a volunteer tutor\, KLC is here to help you achieve your goals and improve your literacy skills.

We crisp up bacon\, then sauté onions in some of the grease. Add potatoes\, cook until brown\, and then mix in eggs. Served with toast. We will also be serving our German eggs Benedict.
