DESCRIPTION:Music At Twilight\, formerly known as Twilight Jazz\, has extended its season this year with an additional concert in September. The genre of music is expanding to bring in a variety of sounds for one’s listening pleasure. Jazz will still be a part of the series and will also include other great sounds from new bands to Kemper. \nThis year the grounds on the south lawn of Anderson Arts Center will open at 5:00 p.m. and the concerts will begin at 6:00 p.m. and go until 8:00 p.m. Seating is first come\, first serve so bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the music along with the view of the lake. \nAll concerts are free\, drinks and food are available for purchase. DESCRIPTION:Peanut Butter & Jam Concert Series presented by the City of Kenosha and Happenings magazine. The 22nd season of the free outdoor concert series takes place Thursdays\, July 11th – August 29th. Offering a varied lineup of musical genres sure to entertain. \nSelect solo\, duo and trio artist perform at 11:30 am (shows will be announced soon) Headliners perform at 6pm. \nAmped up full bands perform at 6 pm. \nConcert-goers are welcome to sit in Veterans Memorial Park to enjoy the concert\, or across the street at Navy Memorial Park near the Harbor. Sixth avenue is closed between 52nd Street and 54th Street for the evening show\, for pedestrian safety. People are reminded not to sit close to the streetcar tracks and to use designated crosswalks and pedestrian routes. \nDon’t’ forget to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit and enjoy the show! \nShow line up includes \nJuly 11th: The Now- A staple of Wisconsin cover bands for more than 18 years\, performing rock\, country and pop covers spanning five decades. \nJuly 18th: Fast Times – A high energy band that brings you back to the 1980s music and styles. \nJuly 25th: Disco Circus – Creating a nostalgic experience by combining the energy and Excitement of a three-ring circus with the grooviest Music from the 1970s with three lead vocalists. \nAugust 1st: 7th Heaven – Whether you’re a fan of classic hits or a newcomer to their sound\, 7th Heaven’s performances promise an exhilarating journey through the best of pop music. \nAugust 8th: Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials – Performing at major blues festivals worldwide\, Lil’ Ed is a multiple Blues Music Award winner and returning favorite to Peanut Butter & Jam. \nAugust 15th; yankee Cowboy – Midwest’s hottest country rock band\, performing upbeat\, exciting modern country music along with blasts for the past. They are known for their big sounds with free-part harmonies. \nAugust 22nd: Jonny Lyons & the Pride – A five-piece show band\, the group has been entertaining folks all over the Midwest. \nAugust 29th: The Yacht Rock-ettes – The world’s first and only female lead yacht rock cover band brings back the smooth rock of the 1970s and early 1980s.

DESCRIPTION:Peanut Butter & Jam Concert Series presented by the City of Kenosha and Happenings magazine. The 22nd season of the free outdoor concert series takes place Thursdays\, July 11th – August 29th. Offering a varied lineup of musical genres sure to entertain. \nSelect solo\, duo and trio artist perform at 11:30 am (shows will be announced soon) Headliners perform at 6pm. \nAmped up full bands perform at 6 pm. \nConcert-goers are welcome to sit in Veterans Memorial Park to enjoy the concert\, or across the street at Navy Memorial Park near the Harbor. Sixth avenue is closed between 52nd Street and 54th Street for the evening show\, for pedestrian safety. People are reminded not to sit close to the streetcar tracks and to use designated crosswalks and pedestrian routes. \nDon’t’ forget to bring your own chairs or blankets to sit and enjoy the show! \nShow line up includes \nJuly 11th: The Now- A staple of Wisconsin cover bands for more than 18 years\, performing rock\, country and pop covers spanning five decades. \nJuly 18th: Fast Times – A high energy band that brings you back to the 1980s music and styles. \nJuly 25th: Disco Circus – Creating a nostalgic experience by combining the energy and Excitement of a three-ring circus with the grooviest Music from the 1970s with three lead vocalists. \nAugust 1st: 7th Heaven – Whether you’re a fan of classic hits or a newcomer to their sound\, 7th Heaven’s performances promise an exhilarating journey through the best of pop music. \nAugust 8th: Lil’ Ed and the Blues Imperials – Performing at major blues festivals worldwide\, Lil’ Ed is a multiple Blues Music Award winner and returning favorite to Peanut Butter & Jam. \nAugust 15th; yankee Cowboy – Midwest’s hottest country rock band\, performing upbeat\, exciting modern country music along with blasts for the past. They are known for their big sounds with free-part harmonies. \nAugust 22nd: Jonny Lyons & the Pride – A five-piece show band\, the group has been entertaining folks all over the Midwest. \nAugust 29th: The Yacht Rock-ettes – The world’s first and only female lead yacht rock cover band brings back the smooth rock of the 1970s and early 1980s.

SUMMARY:22nd Annual Kenosha Classic Cruise-In
DESCRIPTION:Auto manufacturing – whether automobile or engine assembly – took place in Kenosha for more than 100 years. To this day\, classic car owners enjoy gathering together\, showing off their cars\, and telling stories of the good old days. Cruise-in nights and car shows are abundant in the summer months here. \nOne of the biggest annual ones is the Kenosha Classic Cruise-In\, which started in 2004. It happens the Saturday of Labor Day weekend in Downtown Kenosha. Typically\, 1\,500 to 1\,800 cars are on display. Car enthusiasts from as many as five states – and even Canada – gather for this event\, which is open to all makes and models of vehicles and motorcycles. It’s free to display your car and free for spectators. \nBring the whole family! Music and food vendors are part of the event\, with cars lining the streets. As you stroll along\, there are many local restaurants and shops to stop in. Not to mention museums\, art galleries\, historic districts\, a sculpture walk\, farmers markets\, and an Electric Streetcar system to ride! Oh\, and Lake Michigan is right here too! \nThe event is presented by a team of volunteers from a local car club: Kenosha Classic Street Machines. The car club generously donates to local organizations after the event each year. \n
