Her debut novel\, “Call Forth a Fox”\, received a starred review from Shelf Awareness for its “beautifully layered construction of identity” and was praised by “Kirkus Reviews” as “an enchanting adventure” and “a welcome spin on a familiar story.” Markelle earned her master’s degree in creative writing for children and young adults from Hamline University and lives in the Greater Chicago Area with her husband and their two cats\, Matcha and Kava.

DESCRIPTION:Join in on the fun for a Kid’s Fall Fashion Show presented by Millie Bo Peep\, along with collaborating guests\, kins + noah co. and C.C. Photography. The fashion show will begin at 3:30pm and take place at The Stella Hotel inside the Elks Room. After the show\, kids and families will be able to participate in games\, raffle prizes\, and giveaways. There will also be an adult raffle and a cash bar from 3:00-5:00pm. Several family-friendly vendors will also be on site! \nAfter the event is over\, pop over to Millie Bo Peep (just around the block) for our late-night exclusive after hours party to shop our new\, fall collection! The store will be open 2 hours later\, from 5pm until 7pm. The party continues at Millie Bo Peep where you’ll also get to participate in more raffles!
