DESCRIPTION:Friday\, March 21 marks the 340th birthday of the composer\, Johann Sebastian Bach. Join us at St. Elizabeth Church at 7:00 p.m. for a concert of some of his most memorable works plus a few hidden gems. \nBach’s music is celebrated for its intellectual depth\, emotional resonance\, and technical innovation\, embodying the culmination of the Baroque era while laying the groundwork for future musical developments. Experience the timeless beauty of J. S. Bach’s masterpieces live in the beautiful acoustics of St. Elizabeth Church. \nOur resident string ensemble will perform his Concerto for Oboe and Violin in C Minor\, BWV 1060. Other works include the famous Toccata in d minor\, BWV 565 and Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major\, BWV 1007. \nThe concert is open to the public. Tickets are not required; however\, a freewill offering will be taken.
