SUMMARY:Meet & Greet with Amy Samaza
DESCRIPTION:Debut author Amy Sazama is no stranger to grief\, and wanted to share her journey of hope and healing through difficult times in her memoir “Fleetwood Dreams: Climbing a Mountain after a Landslide”. This book showcases a raw and candid look into the process of grief and healing. \nAmy Sazama will be at Blue House Books on Saturday\, November 9th\, from noon to 3 p.m. to chat with readers and sign books. Whether you are buying this book for yourself or a loved one\, it is the perfect book for anyone going through a difficult emotional journey and hoping to find comfort. We hope to see you there! \nABOUT THE BOOK \nDivorce\, drugs generational trauma\, loss and grief set author\, Amy Sazama\, on a journey to find both hope and healing. After tragically losing both her mother and twin brother in her teens and early twenties\, Amy finds herself hopeless and unsure of how to cope with such tremendous losses. She struggles to make sense of her brother’s murder\, and find the strength to live a life without him asking\, “Can a twin survive without their twin?” \nIn her memoir “Fleetwood Dreams: Climbing a Mountain after a Landslide”\, Amy candidly recounts her road to healing and how she worked through generational trauma and grief. \nShe takes an intimate look at loss and the raw uncertainty\, devastation\, and heartache that come along with it. Through trial and error\, Amy climbs her way out of despair\, with a few hard lessons\, a little humor\, and a lot of hope along the way. \nShe hopes her memoir will help others feel less alone with their grief\, give a little insight on what helped her\, and leave others with feeling of hope. \nABOUT THE AUTHOR \nAmy Leigh Sazama wants you to believe in hope. Her first book\, “Fleetwood Dreams: Climbing a Mountain After a Landslide”\, is a memoir of heartache and loss\, but more importantly\, the story of her climb back up. Amy lives in Wisconsin with her husband and daughter\, where you’ll typically find her doing something outdoorsy\, traveling or teaching yoga classes. \nShe graduated from UW-Whitewater with a Degree in Broadcast Journalism\, and has spent many years working as a case manager\, a fitness instructor and is now a first time author with Ten16 Press. \nAmy currently works at a local gym as a Group Exercise Coordinator\, where she also teaches Yoga and Pilates.
