Tree Lighting Ceremony
The lighting of the City of Kenosha’s Christmas Tree will kick off an evening of festivities for the annual Lightin’ Up celebration in Downtown Kenosha.
This FREE event takes place at a NEW location this year: Veterans Memorial Park.
The family program is sure to put you in the holiday mood. Enjoy live entertainment including Ben Mulwana and caroling leading up to the tree lighting, which will be led by Mayor David Bogdala and Santa Claus. Mrs. Claus will be present as well.
Location: Next to City Hall at Veterans Memorial Park, 5220 Sixth Avenue
Time: Program begins at 3:30 p.m. with the tree lighting at 4:30 p.m.

Lightin’ Up
Following the Tree Lighting, the Lightin’ Up celebration continues with family activities, live entertainment, and special promotions at participating Downtown businesses, attractions, and outdoor spaces throughout the evening. Shops will be open extended hours. Enjoy the decorated storefronts! Ride the Electric Streetcar for FREE, and watch for the Storytime Streetcar with holiday stories read by volunteers from the Kenosha Public Library.
